Facts and Footnotes

The idyllic charm and lifestyle of Golden Bay attracts an interesting variety of artists and craftsfolk.

Wherever you wander around our paradise, you will see their shingles and signs at the roadside or find their wares on show and for sale in the many galleries, shops and studios in Takaka and around the countryside.

There are potters and painters, weavers and woodworkers, sculptors and silversmiths, trug makers and tile makers. You name it, we're sure you'll find it.
