Luminate is a vibrant summer festival of cutting-edge live and electronic music, visual and performing arts, inspirational knowledge-sharing and pioneering environmental initiatives.

Luminate offers a diverse range of live music and electronica spanning five zones. Delivering an international line-up alongside our home-grown talent, you’ll find world grooves, gypsy, folk, jazz, blues, roots, reggae, dub, psytrance, techno, house, dubstep, glitch-hop, tribal drumming and lots more.


Workshops include permaculture, yoga, science, health, drumming, dance, circo-arts, music, and traditional crafts. With a village market, healing zone, tribal drum circle, circus space, performance arts and lots of activities for children, there is plenty to pack into this eight-day multi-facetted experience.

Luminate is renowned for its strong environmentally conscious focus. Bring your own plates/cups for the market. All cafes run by Luminate are vegetarian and Organic. With no rubbish or recycling bins on site you pack out what you bring in.

Enjoy spacious camping in a stunning natural environment. Eco amenities include composting toilets and solar showers. Luminate is a non-alcohol, family-friendly event, no dogs allowed.

Midway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox, Luminate celebrates the ancient seasonal festival of Lughnasadgh (“Lunasa”).
