We are a non-profit organisation run by a membership committee.
Our membership of around 130 is made up of both local businesses and private individuals around Golden Bay.
Our Vision is to get Golden Bay known nationally and internationally as a top quality, year-round visitor destination that offers a unique combination of memorable experiences.

Then consider joining the Golden Bay Photographic Club, a small friendly group with common interest in the art of photography. Throughout the year members learn use of a digital camera, image processing and other aspects of photography. Sacred Heart
Mass Times: Sunday: 5pm. (Services are held in the hall behind the church until the church is strengthened for earthquakes)
The iconic Sacred Heart Marble Church was consecrated on 15th September 1918 by Archbishop Thomas O'Shea assisted by Frs Tymons and Kimbell before a large congregation. Up until the Christchurch earthquake in 2011, it remained the oldest marble Catholic Church still in use in New Zealand.
It is our earnest hope that we would be able to use this marble church
Membership of the Golden Bay community board is voted for by residents during the local government elections, held every three years. Golden Bay ward councillors are also part of the Golden Bay community board.

ASSOCIATION (INC)
NAME
1 The name of the Association shall be "THE GOLDEN BAY PROMOTION ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED" (hereinafter called "the Association")
OBJECTS
2 The objects of the Association shall be
a To promote Golden Bay within New Zealand and overseas, with the object of attracting visitors and business interests
b To assist, promote and encourage sustainable tourism and business development.

Golden Bay Promotions Association would like to thank The Tasman District Council for their Grant of funds, which enabled us to purchase a door counter.
This now helps us monitor visitor numbers into our Visitor Centre.
Without grants like this we would be unable to have a base from which we can inform visitors to Golden Bay, all the wonderful and unique secrets the we have to offer.
